When my husband and I decided to move to Pembrokeshire from London we didn’t really know where to begin.  Due to my work commitments and my husband’s health, I was unable to spend time driving up and down viewing properties so we contacted Carol  Peett.

My husband is in a wheelchair so we needed a house which would accommodate this and which had a bedroom and bathroom downstairs with wide corridors and doorways and spacious rooms.  We also wanted to be in a village with a good community spirit and within a short drive of a larger town with a hospital.

With her in-depth knowledge of the region, Carol was able to talk us through the pros and cons of various areas and what our money would buy us in those areas.  She understood our requirements perfectly and they began a thorough search, keeping us informed of progress at all times.  When Carol took me to view their shortlist of houses, I fell in love with ours immediately; it was everything I dreamed of and more.  The layout was perfect for my husband, it is situated in a beautiful estuary village with a village shop and lively social life centred round the cricket club and is within 10 minute drive of Haverfordwest.

She conducted all negotiations for us and managed our purchase which took so much of the burden off my shoulders.  Carol recommended surveyors and other tradesmen, helped us with our move and her help has gone way beyond the call of duty. Her help and understanding made what was a very daunting and stressful prospect become a wonderful reality that I may never have achieved without them.  I would highly recommend her and their service to anyone.

This has been a feat for us all, as eventually we settled on our house after negotiating Covid, no movement, property prices changing, and two houses that fell through, all though no fault of Carols. She is fantastic with communication, and always helpful, with many local contacts, all a huge advantage in streamlining the process of buying a house in Pembrokeshire. We have finally managed to find time, following the usual rumpus of moving, to sit down and say a big thank you for helping us find our lovely home here in Pembrokeshire.
