Meet The Team
Emma Salmon - Owner
Emma owns West Wales Property Finders having worked alongside its founder Carol Peett during 2025. Emma is a lifelong property enthusiast, with over ten years experience in estate agency across the West Midlands and Warwickshire. In 2017 she and her husband relocated to North Pembrokeshire to create a new lifestyle.
Alongside her love of property, Emma is a chartered practitioner psychologist and firmly believes that property finding draws heavily on understanding people and what makes them love (or loathe...) a particular home.
Emma’s own experience of seeking a home in Pembrokeshire whilst living 200 miles away, and then making the move to a new county gives unique insight into the needs of home-search clients :
Why is south-west Wales so special?
It really does offer everything; the coastal National Park, the sweeping Preseli Mountains, thriving independent businesses in food, arts, conservation and more, very few traffic jams with easy access to the M4, train links to Swansea & Cardiff, incredible bird and sea life, great schools, welcoming friendly communities, castles, beaches, islands and Welsh dragons….
Where is home ?
We live on a ten acre smallholding in North Pembrokeshire and have a small flock of tame Shetland and Herdwick sheep. The highest point of the county Foel Cwmcerwyn is our “backyard” with a stunning hike straight from our front door to the summit; pretty epic views and walks into the National Park.
What is the best part of property finding?
Getting to know the specific needs of a client, using my own lived experience of moving to the county to draw up a shortlist of areas and properties and facilitiating their move to this most beautiful area of the UK. Seeing them with their keys!
Carol Peett - Consultant
Born and brought up on a farm in Pembrokeshire and with her family being one of the oldest in the County, Carol’s in-depth knowledge of the area, property market and people of West Wales is second to none.
From 2004-2014, Carol managed the West Wales office of The County Homesearch Company, one of the UK’s leading property housefinders and the principal homefinder for Channel 4’s popular TV programme, Location, Location, Location.
During this time she was proud to have won the Best Property Finder Wales Award in the Daily Mail Property Awards in 2007, 2008 and 2009, together with both the UK Property Finder of the Year and the International Property Finder of the Year Bloomberg Awards for 2010.
With the sale of The County Homesearch Company to American company, Dwellworks, Carol felt the time was right to break out on their own and so founded West Wales Property Finders in the Autumn of 2014.
Carol has also been acknowledged as a property expert for numerous articles in The Financial Times, The Sunday Times, Bricks & Mortar in The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, The Daily Mail, The Western Mail, The Field and Country Life, and property websites such as Primelocation, Zoopla and MSN Property.
